The seed of everything
This project was both conceived and built by Muriel Tichit, Research Director at INRAE. Muriel passionately put the consortium together, and drove the project during its initial phases. Unfortunately, she passed away halfway through the project.
Most of the ideas present in this project are her legacy. Through this project, Muriel planted a seed which we are sure will bring benefits to both research and agriculture in the long term. She was passionate about sustainable agriculture and focused her research on finding solutions to enable agricultural systems to become more and more respectful of biodiversity, the environment and society.
Muriel is a key source of inspiration for all those people that took part in this project as well as for all those who had the privilege of working with her over the years.
